Overview

The Cursus Master en Ingénierie in Earth sciences at Université Savoie Mont Blanc is an integrated licence-master route with an engineering orientation in geosciences. It is run by the Institut des sciences de la Terre and the EDYTEM laboratory and builds on the Earth sciences licence and the GAIA track of the Géoressources, Géorisques, Géotechnique master. Students follow reinforced teaching, with six extra ECTS per semester, that combines licence and master courses with project-based learning, internships and engineering science modules. Themes include natural hazards and land planning. The five-year cursus carries an engineering label but does not confer the engineer's title.
