MA Adult Education (Andragogy)

Trains professionals in adult learning and education, who see learning as human, cultural and social development across families, communities, schools and workplaces. Graduates work with adults in formal or non-formal settings, or in policy and service provision at local, national and international levels. Core topics include participation, provision, equity, performance, delivery methods and inclusion in lifelong learning, viewed through sociological, psychological, historical and philosophical lenses. Careers include vocational and workplace learning, second-chance education, coaching, counselling, community development and special needs education.
