Overview

Kuwait College of Science & Technology's Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering is a full-time, daytime, on-campus degree built around 144 credit hours delivered over four and a half years across nine semesters. Within the degree, students can focus their later study on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, or data science, choosing the emphasis that matches their interests. In the summer term of year three, students are encouraged to take up practical training with an employer, connecting classroom learning to real engineering problems before they graduate. Teaching aims to give graduates the skills and confidence to build lasting careers while continuing to learn throughout their working lives, with attention paid to ethics and professional responsibility alongside core engineering content. The degree also looks to extend research and technical knowledge relevant to Kuwait and the surrounding region. Graduates are expected to be capable of designing and running experiments, analysing the data these produce, exercising engineering judgement, and picking up new knowledge through suitable learning strategies as their careers progress.
