Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity

Kuwait University's Department of Computer Science, within the College of Science, introduced this Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity in the summer of 2024. The degree combines a broad computer science foundation with focused study of security fundamentals, cryptography and network security, giving graduates both general technical grounding and a specialised security skill set. The program concludes with a capstone computer security design course, where students build an original security solution that draws together what they have learned across the degree. Kuwait University positions graduates for roles such as cybersecurity officer, security-aware systems administrator, secure software developer, or security audit officer, among other paths into the information security field.
