The Bachelor of Science in Architecture at the University of Liechtenstein builds a design, technical and theoretical foundation for working responsibly with the built environment, treating design as a tool for addressing social, ecological and cultural questions. Delivered through the Liechtenstein School of Architecture over six semesters and 180 ECTS credits, the programme centres on project studios where students develop and test architectural and socially relevant ideas, alongside a required six-month internship. Teaching follows five subject areas set by the school, leaving room for individual focus and personal design approaches. Classes run primarily in German, with cohorts of roughly 35 to 40 students per semester, full-time or part-time, and the qualification carries RIBA and AAQ accreditation. Students can spend a semester with one of more than 20 partner universities abroad.
Graduates move on to further Master's study or directly into practice, including roles in design, scenography and other creative industries, supported by the dense network of architecture offices and strong building culture around Liechtenstein.
