BA/BS in Faculty for Information Systems and Technologies

The information systems and technologies faculty was established in 2008 at the University of Donja Gorica and teaches roughly 150 students across undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Its approach is interdisciplinary. The faculty argues that computing skills are best learned for direct use in solving practical business problems, much as economic questions cannot be understood through economics alone. Studies are aimed at secondary-school graduates who want to develop their skills with an entrepreneurial attitude. The faculty says it works on teaching quality so that graduates can find work in any country, not only Montenegro. It points to employer demand for economists who understand information technology and for IT specialists who can apply their skills to economics and business, and it presents its graduates as prepared for both profiles and for the international job market.
