MA/MS in Prevodilaštvo - Modul M1: Engleski jezik (2012)

Translation Studies, Module M1: English Language, is an academic master's programme at the University of Montenegro, with a focus on written translation and consecutive interpreting in the fields of law and economics. The learning outcomes describe graduates who apply written translation techniques into and out of a foreign language, producing translations that meet market requirements, and who apply consecutive interpreting of shorter units of speech in both directions. They use the knowledge and skills needed to establish themselves on the translation services market while respecting ethical and professional norms, and they work independently in written translation and consecutive interpreting. Graduates are also expected to apply the theoretical knowledge from linguistics and translation studies that research requires. The page names an associate professor as head of the programme and lists the financing category as S.
