SLIKARSTVO (2012) - Master

Painting is an academic master's programme at the University of Montenegro, focused on developing an independent practice in painting and related interdisciplinary methods. The learning outcomes ask students to build their own artistic process through varied painting and interdisciplinary approaches, to experiment while applying critical thinking, and to work both independently and in teams. They are expected to create paintings from a personal creative process, to evaluate the contemporary art scene and their own work using theoretical knowledge of art, and to communicate effectively with the artistic community and society. Further outcomes cover professional independence in exhibiting and presenting work in written and spoken form, and the ability to articulate and defend artistic ideas before a wider audience. The curriculum table shows a final master's thesis in the fourth semester, worth 30 ECTS, completed as an exhibition presented to professional standards using methods of artistic research.
