Overview

Teacher Education in English prepares students to teach English in secondary and vocational education. Students develop their own subject knowledge and skills and take part in teaching practice from the start. The programme includes the option to explore education abroad during the course and keeps contact with pupils throughout. The hbo bachelor's degree in English teaching is offered full-time, and a part-time Bachelor variant also exists. Applicants need an mbo, havo or vwo diploma. Programme features include small groups, personal mentoring and a student association for teacher students.
