MA/MS in River Delta Development (joint degree)

This joint master's addresses the pressures facing river deltas, which support millions of people, a range of ecosystems, and global food production and economic activity, but face challenges from climate change, sea-level rise, overpopulation, flooding, subsidence and the salinisation of groundwater. It is delivered jointly by three institutions, each bringing a different water specialism: coastal areas at HZ University of Applied Sciences, river systems at Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences, and urban water at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, with study and work spread across all three locations to build understanding of different delta-area types.
