BA/BS in Information & Communication Technology

IT underpins everyday technology such as streaming services, messaging apps and music platforms, and increasingly connects physical objects to the internet, for example a security camera that alerts a smartphone when someone enters a garden, or a self-learning algorithm that works out whether crossing a street is safe. The bachelor covers far more than programming and system management: brainstorming software solutions for a client, designing cloud solutions, building new applications, collecting and interpreting data to advise a business, or working on cyber security all fall within its scope. Students can develop toward either the business side or the technical side of IT, and the programme is built to help them discover which direction suits them while teaching the latest technologies and trends.
