MA/MS in Molecular Chemistry

Molecular Chemistry covers how molecules with new biological or physical properties are synthesised, spanning every stage from initial design through to application. Teaching is linked to research carried out at the Institute for Molecules and Materials, building thorough knowledge of how new functional molecular structures are designed, synthesised and characterised. Internships involve independent research under the personal guidance of a researcher, which can result in a scientific publication listing the student as co-author.
