BA/BS in Social Work

This four-year bachelor trains social workers who tackle social problems from the start, using real cases from practice. Students build a broad two-year foundation and then choose a profile that suits them. Skills training runs alongside theory, and students reflect on their own conduct as they develop professionally. Rotterdam's diverse population is the setting for much of the learning. The degree is a hbo bachelor's in social work, and a part-time version is also offered. Applicants register through Studielink, and the first intake deadline is 1 May. The programme prepares graduates for professional social work roles.
