Program details

Overview

The LLM programme combines space law with both public and private air law, addressing questions such as which laws apply to commercial activity in outer space, where responsibility for mitigating space debris lies, and who is liable when accidents happen on board an aircraft, approached from international and European perspectives alike. It is also offered as a two-year blended learning version combining distance learning with face-to-face teaching, allowing participants to study alongside employment or other commitments; these students attend Leiden three times, for periods of one to two weeks each.
