Program details

Overview

The programme covers protecting systems and data and managing security in real-world settings, including how threats develop, how to counter them, and the way organisations develop durable solutions as time passes. It combines security technology with assurance, compliance and quality assurance, connecting regulation to technology so that controls function as intended, and includes hands-on training to spot, respond to and head off attacks within a controlled environment. Students develop skills in analysing security challenges, designing and evaluating cryptosystems, identifying and prioritising vulnerabilities, and implementing detection and mitigation measures, preparing them for technical roles such as security architect or malware analyst as well as leadership and compliance roles such as chief information security officer or data protection officer. It is run in collaboration with six European universities.
