Electric Power Engineering - Master's Programme

This two-year programme builds the knowledge and technical skills needed to plan, design and operate electrical power systems, with an emphasis on developing solutions for more sustainable power networks. Coursework covers the design of electrotechnical equipment for sectors including shipping, rail, industry and energy supply. Master's thesis topics are tied to research carried out by the department's various research groups, and all teaching is delivered in English. The cohort is small, drawing around 25 students from Norway and abroad, and graduates may go on to pursue a PhD programme.
