Overview

Open to those continuing informatics study after a bachelor's degree, the two-year master's programme builds advanced, research-oriented competence in informatics, developing scientific working methods and analytical skills for tackling new problems arising from technological change. Specialisation runs through dedicated courses, projects and the master's thesis, each specialisation tied to a research group, with four disciplines on offer: databases and search, artificial intelligence, software systems, and interaction design, gaming and learning technology. The degree qualifies graduates for an advanced level within their discipline and for admission to doctoral programmes; teaching is in English.
