Cert in Årsstudium medisin grunnfag

This one-year programme in basic medicine introduces the healthy and the sick human body. It has two parts: anatomy and physiology, which explain how the body works from cells and DNA to organs, and diseases, covering their causes, diagnosis and treatment. The programme is 60 ECTS and is offered in Oslo and as online study, full-time or part-time. It works as a foundation for health studies and is a good starting point for those who want to work with people with a scientific approach. It can serve as the first year of a bachelor in nutrition or of chiropractic training at partner universities in Wales and Bournemouth, where it is pre-approved. The award is an årsstudium at bachelor level.
