Overview

The programme covers control methods, power systems, electric drives and the conversion of electric energy, skills considered central to the electrification and digitalisation of society. Relevant applications include generating, storing and distributing renewable energy, and electric transport such as vehicles, ships and aircraft. Advanced study rests on coursework spanning mathematics, programming, electromagnetism, measurement systems, signal transmission, power electronics, power systems and control engineering. In the third semester, students can either specialise through elective courses or go on exchange to another institution, provided the external courses match the content and scope of those offered in this programme.
