Overview
Designed for students with a background in natural sciences, technology or medical sciences, the programme treats previous study in business or entrepreneurship as neither assumed nor required, though participants must take one elective master's course from within their own scientific or technical field. Teaching is practice-based, combining coursework with direct experience of entrepreneurship gained through a student-driven start-up venture and corporate work, and many courses are organised around group work. The master's thesis can be written alone, in a group, or in collaboration with a company. Career paths mentioned include starting a business, joining a start-up, or taking roles such as business developer, project manager, management trainee, consultant or investment manager inside an existing company, across sectors including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, energy and ICT services, with some graduates continuing into a PhD in innovation and entrepreneurship.
