MSc Information Technology

The MSc in Information Technology is a postgraduate programme of the engineering college of the National University in Oman. It is open to graduates of computing and information-related bachelor degrees, such as information technology, information systems, computer science, computer engineering, software technologies, and networking and database administration. Graduates of related fields, including electronic and electrical engineering, management information systems, e-business and mass communication, may also be admitted if they have at least three years of relevant experience and pass an approval interview at the university. Applicants are expected to hold a CGPA of at least Good or equivalent; a pass grade is accepted with two years in the specialisation. Experienced holders of a diploma or advanced diploma are also considered under ministry regulations.
