Overview

The second-cycle biotechnology programme broadens the first-cycle content into selected areas of biotechnology. It covers modelling and simulation of bioprocesses, special separation techniques, biotechnological methods in environmental protection, and quality management of chemical products. Students can shape their own path by choosing thematic blocks: pharmaceutical biotechnology, laboratory diagnostics in biotechnology, process and bioprocess engineering, and purification and analysis of biotechnological products. The award is a magister inzynier, a second-cycle engineering qualification.

Admission Requirements: Applicants must hold an engineer, master of engineering or equivalent degree (inzynier, magister inzynier or equivalent) to enter this second-cycle programme.
