BA/BS in Mikrobiologia

The master's programme covers microorganisms and their role in human and animal health and in the balance of ecosystems. Students learn to identify and control pathogenic microbes, including those that threaten food and pharmaceutical safety, and they apply microbiological knowledge in diagnostics, biotechnology and environmental protection. Laboratory work and practical training form part of the course. The two-year full-time magister programme suits graduates who want to combine life-science knowledge with practical applications in medicine, industry and environmental protection. It prepares graduates to support disease diagnosis, epidemiological monitoring and quality control.
