Overview

This first-cycle cosmetology programme prepares students to provide skin-care services in health and disease. Graduates perform cosmetic and beautifying treatments for different client groups, assess skin condition, select suitable products and address the prevention and treatment of skin problems. Subjects include anti-aging cosmetology, body and beauty cosmetology, cosmetic diagnostics and cosmetic formulation. Placements take place in cosmetic and beauty salons and spas. The programme also covers running a cosmetic practice and teaching clients about skin care and hygiene.
