BA/BS in Sport Management

Qatar University's Sport Management program, housed in the College of Sport Sciences, readies students for careers in a regional sports industry that is expanding quickly. Over four years, the Bachelor of Science degree, taught in Arabic, blends how sporting venues and events are staffed and operated, how clubs and brands market and sponsor themselves, the economics behind running a sports organization, and the way national and local sport bodies are governed. Students take courses on how sponsorships and marketing campaigns are built, on staffing and running venues and competitions day to day, on budgeting and finance within clubs and federations, and on the ethical questions that come up across the industry, alongside an internship that puts that coursework into practice. Graduates move into operations roles at clubs and event organizers, community-facing coordinator positions, or specialist jobs covering compliance and fan engagement, reflecting the program's focus on both the business and community sides of sport.
