Master of Science in Chemical Engineering

This coursework master's degree is offered by NTU's chemistry, chemical engineering and biotechnology school and centres on how chemical and process plants are designed, operated and optimised. It is intended for learners and working adults whose training lies in chemical science or engineering, or in a biological or clinical science, and who want to move into chemical engineering. A set of advanced core modules builds on fundamentals and moves toward more complex applications. Students can take part in research through laboratory attachments and long-running MSc research projects, and an optional internship provides work experience and a chance to build a professional network. Unrestricted electives include subjects such as safety in industry, process simulation with technoeconomic analysis, and project management for engineers. The programme is offered both full-time and part-time.
