Master of Science in Knowledge Management (KM)

This master's degree is offered by NTU's Wee Kim Wee communication and information school to students from public and private organisations that rely on human and knowledge resources. Knowledge management is the discipline of finding, recording, assessing, retrieving and sharing an organisation's information assets, from databases and policies to the experience and social networks of individual workers. The programme mixes theory with industry practice, drawing on practitioners from Singapore's Knowledge Management Society, and it stresses creativity and innovation. It can be studied full-time or part-time. The degree is self-financed, so applicants cannot receive aid such as tuition fee loans, service obligation or MOE subsidies. A merit scholarship for outstanding students is available separately. Applicants who have worked in management roles at public or private organisations are favoured, and a good first degree in any discipline is the baseline.
