Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering

This coursework master's degree is offered by NTU's mechanical and aerospace engineering school. It builds a foundation in the theories behind structures, dynamics and controls, and gives students up-to-date methods for working with products and systems across analysis, design, production and service, in a field shaped by digitalisation, connectivity and intelligent technologies. Students may complete a dissertation in place of two elective courses and may take an optional specialisation in additive manufacturing. Graduates are expected to work in sectors such as electronics, semiconductors, aerospace, defence, marine, pharmaceuticals, construction, and oil and gas. The programme is open full-time and part-time. Applications for the August 2027 intake run from October 2026 to the end of March 2027, and shortlisted applicants may be invited to interview.
