Program details

Overview

The master's degree in visual rehabilitation is an official 60 ECTS programme for people working with people who have low vision or visual disability. It responds to a gap in formal training in this socio-healthcare field, and it is developed by the IOBA institute with experts from other universities and low-vision centres. Its aim is to prepare an interdisciplinary team able to meet the health and social needs of this patient group. The degree is delivered in a blended, semi-presencial format. It is aimed at students and professionals interested in visual disability, including graduates in optics and optometry and medical graduates with an ophthalmology specialisation.
