BA/BS in Agronomy

Agronomy combines natural-science and technical study with the economic and social dimensions of agricultural development. The programme centres on research aimed at improving and advancing agriculture in the broadest sense, preparing graduates to work as full professionals in crop production methods and techniques. Students build the skills needed to raise both the quality and quantity of agricultural output, while learning to trace the process from raw product to finished product and to avoid harmful environmental effects along the way. The degree is awarded as a Bachelor in Applied Technology (B.Tech), and the curriculum stays closely aligned with current developments in the agricultural professional field, with practical work forming a core part of the training.
