Master in Methods, Data, and Society

This minor Master's is offered jointly by the social science institutes of the University of Zurich, including political science, communication and media research, religious studies, social anthropology and sociology. Digitalisation generates large volumes of data on social interaction and human behaviour, which the programme addresses. Students expand their skills in quantitative and qualitative social science methods, including statistics, and learn to prepare, analyse and communicate findings from public administration data, social media, surveys and experiments to different audiences. It suits students who want analytical roles in research and beyond.
