The Archaeology bachelor's programme at Aksaray's Faculty of Arts and Sciences runs for four years in Turkish. It is organised around three branches: Prehistoric, Protohistoric and Ancient Near Eastern Archaeology, and Classical Archaeology. The first two semesters build core skills across the field, while electives from the third semester allow specialisation in one branch.
Students learn to collect, document, analyse and interpret archaeological data using scientific methods, and take part in field research. The programme also addresses the protection and evaluation of cultural heritage. Graduates receive a bachelor's diploma in archaeology and the title Arkeolog.
