The two-year Anaesthesia associate-degree programme at the School of Health Services is taught in Turkish. It was opened in 2017-2018 and admitted its first students in 2020-2021. The programme lasts four semesters and trains anaesthesia technicians who assist physicians in operations. Graduates prepare the equipment needed for anaesthesia and reanimation units, monitor vital functions during procedures, keep records, and carry out their duties within legal and ethical rules.
Graduates work in public and private health institutions, in clinics, polyclinics, laboratories, operating theatres and emergency services. The programme aims to develop technicians who can update their skills in the field. Graduates receive an associate degree in Anaesthesia.

Admission Requirements: Central placement through ÖSYM with the TYT score type; 41 places; lowest placement score 357 (success rank 370,776). Candidates need a high school diploma and an ÖSYM placement result.
