The Computer Engineering bachelor programme runs for four years. Students take basic engineering and programming courses in the first two years, then choose technical electives in artificial intelligence, machine learning, cryptography, processor architecture, image processing, big data, cloud computing and embedded systems. The department focuses on computer science, software and hardware.
The programme trains engineers who analyse problems and produce solutions with information systems tools, ready for industry or for graduate study. An internship is included.

Admission Requirements: Central YKS placement via ÖSYM using the SAY score type. 25 places; lowest placement score 420.2 (success rank 93,885). Applicants must take the national exam and rank the department. Horizontal transfer from equivalent programmes is possible when quotas open.

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
