Overview

The Architecture bachelor programme runs for four years. It trains architects who research, question critically and design sustainable, liveable spaces. The curriculum is built on design studios supported by technical courses, and raises awareness of social, environmental and earthquake-risk issues. Graduates are awarded the title of Architect and can work as designers, supervisors and practitioners in public and private project and construction units. They may apply to graduate programmes. An internship is included.

Admission Requirements: Central YKS placement via ÖSYM using the SAY score type. 9 places; lowest placement score 386.9 (success rank 133,513). Requires a high school diploma and a sufficient SAY score.

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
