Overview

The industrial design programme, housed in the Faculty of Architecture, trains designers of industrial products to international standards, combining research, design, production and application work. Its mission covers research and development, design and production in industry and research institutions. The four-year programme is taught with 30% English instruction. Undergraduate teaching began in 2012 and postgraduate teaching in 2014. Graduates receive a bachelor's degree in industrial product design.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Central placement through the national YKS exam by ÖSYM on the SAY score type; 75 places; lowest placement score 389 (success rank 130,779). Minimum rank condition of 300,000 in the score type.

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
