Overview

The Industrial Design bachelor's programme is offered by the School of Fashion and Design, founded in 2011, which began active operation in 2018 and admitted its first students in 2019-2020. The programme lasts four years and sits under the 0212 field code of the international classification. Beyond creative design, the programme aims to train students in material selection, production methods, technical drawing, target market analysis and commercialisation of designs. The stated aim relates to the goals of the 12th Development Plan for skilled labour in design. Instruction is in Turkish.

Admission Requirements: Central YKS placement via ÖSYM; score type SAY; 20 places; lowest placement score 380.5 (success rank 142,115).

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
