The preschool teaching programme trains preschool teachers in field knowledge, teaching profession knowledge, general culture and practice courses. Its aim is to give students the basic knowledge and skills for professional life, combining theory with field experience and an awareness of child rights.
The four-year programme is taught in Turkish and graduates receive a bachelor's degree in preschool education. The department also runs master's and doctoral programmes through the institute of educational sciences.
