Overview

The two-year Accounting and Tax Applications associate degree prepares intermediate accounting staff for accounting departments of private and public enterprises. Graduates may also open and run their own business after meeting the legal requirements. Students who complete all courses in the curriculum receive an associate degree with the title Muhasebeci Ara Elemanı. Graduation requires completing courses within the legal period and a grade point average of at least 2.00. Vertical transfer to a four-year bachelor's programme is possible through DGS.

Admission Requirements: YKS central placement via ÖSYM, TYT score type, 162 places; lowest placement score 299.8 (success rank 845,426).

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
