Overview

The Olive Growing and Olive Processing Technology associate degree at Altınözü Agricultural Sciences Vocational School trains technicians across olive cultivation, table-olive and olive-oil production, quality control, storage and packaging. Students learn olive botany, propagation, orchard establishment, irrigation, pruning, harvesting and pest control, along with olive-oil processing technology. Teaching combines theory with field practice, and the programme includes an internship. Graduates receive an associate degree.

Admission Requirements: Central YKS placement by ÖSYM with TYT score type; 25 places; lowest placement score 237 in 2026.

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
