Overview
Nursing is a four-year bachelor's programme at the Florence Nightingale Hospital School of Nursing, taught in Turkish and English. The school was founded in 2006 by the Turkish Cardiology Foundation, with the aim of raising nurses who respect people, know their responsibilities to society and are professionally and scientifically competent. The school also runs master's and doctoral programmes in nursing through the Institute of Health Sciences. Students who complete every requirement receive a bachelor's diploma in nursing.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission is through Türkiye's national university entrance examination YKS (Yükseköğretim Kurumları Sınavı), with central placement by ÖSYM using the SAY (numerical) score type. In the 2026 guide the programme offered 166 places; the lowest placed candidate scored 389.9 (success rank 129,592). Placement variants: 50% discount, full scholarship (Burslu). Programmes taught in a foreign language require passing the university's language proficiency exam or an accepted certificate, otherwise a preparatory year. International students apply directly to the university under its international (YÖS) quota.
