Overview

The Anesthesia programme at İzmir Tınaztepe University is a two-year associate degree offered by the School of Health Services and opened in 2020. It prepares anesthesia technicians with theoretical and practical knowledge of anesthesia and resuscitation, able to prepare and safely use the devices, equipment and drugs used in anesthesia. Graduates support the anesthesia team in monitoring and caring for patients during the anesthesia process. The programme totals 120 ECTS and covers patient and staff safety, ethical principles, quality standards, teamwork and effective communication.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Admission is through Türkiye's national university entrance examination YKS (Yükseköğretim Kurumları Sınavı), with central placement by ÖSYM using the TYT (basic proficiency) score type. In the 2026 guide the programme offered 62 places; the lowest placed candidate scored 374.3 (success rank 286,197). Placement variants: 50% discount, full scholarship (Burslu). International students apply directly to the university under its international (YÖS) quota.
