The Anaesthesia associate degree is a two-year, four-semester programme at the Kahramanmaraş Health Services Vocational School, with an internship. It prepares technicians to support pre-operative preparation, anaesthesia and analgesia procedures, and monitoring of vital functions in operating and reanimation units. First-year courses cover anaesthesia equipment and maintenance, medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and system diseases.
In the second year, students study resuscitation, clinical anaesthesia, first aid and infectious diseases, and complete a 30-working-day summer internship. Graduates receive the title Anestezi Teknikeri. Admission uses the TYT score type through ÖSYM central placement, with 50 places and a lowest placement score of 366.4 (success rank 322,326).
