Overview

The two-year Fashion Design programme is run within the Buldan Vocational School design department and trains designers in computerised pattern-making and design software for the fashion, textile and garment sector. Teaching began in 2008-2009 with 35 students. Practical training teaches technical, aesthetic and artistic values for the design of products made by the sector, so that graduates can add value at the design stage.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Admission is through Türkiye's national university entrance examination YKS (Yükseköğretim Kurumları Sınavı), with central placement by ÖSYM using the TYT (basic proficiency) score type. In the 2026 guide the programme offered 87 places; the lowest placed candidate scored 297.6 (success rank 870,672). International students apply directly to the university under its international (YÖS) quota.

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
