Overview

The four-year Aircraft Maintenance and Repair programme trains technicians for aircraft body and engine maintenance. In the first two years students complete much of the module training required under the SHY-147 regulation. In years three and four they take on-the-job training at an approved maintenance organisation within the university, working toward the SHY-66 licence. The programme prepares graduates for roles with airlines, the air force and private maintenance centres. The bachelor's degree is awarded on completing 240 ECTS credits.

Admission Requirements: Admission through the national YKS exam with ÖSYM central placement; SAY score type; 47 places; lowest placement score 437.8 (success rank 75,578).

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
