Overview

Banking and Insurance is a two-year associate degree programme that prepares graduates for the banking and insurance sector. It covers new financial instruments, banking and insurance products, financial institutions and practical techniques, with a focus on financial technology and analytical thinking. The programme requires 120 ECTS credits over four semesters. Its aim is to train intermediate staff who understand rapid change in finance and insurance and can solve problems in the sector. The programme has no internship.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Admission through the national YKS exam (TYT score type) with ÖSYM central placement. The 2026 guide lists 30 places and a lowest placement score of 294.1 (success rank 912,633). Admission follows YÖK regulations.

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
