Overview

Accounting and Tax Applications is a two-year associate degree programme that prepares students for accounting and tax work. Its aim is to train students who understand the practice of accounting and tax services, changing sector needs and innovations, and who can think analytically and solve problems. The programme requires 120 ECTS credits covering accounting and tax legislation. Graduates receive an associate degree (Önlisans Derecesi). Students can progress to bachelor programmes such as Accounting and Financial Management through the DGS exam. The programme has no internship.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Admission through the national YKS exam (TYT score type) with ÖSYM central placement. The 2026 guide lists 27 places and a lowest placement score of 293.3 (success rank 921,146). Admission follows YÖK regulations.

Application Details

Application Process: Turkish applicants list the programme among their choices (tercih) in ÖSYM's central placement after the YKS results each July; international applicants apply directly to the university's international student office under the YÖS quota, usually between May and August.
