Business Computing

The BSc Business Computing focuses on real-world applications and fast-changing information technology. It combines skills that are current in the job market with foundational theory, preparing students for both early employment and later career development. Teaching is led by lecturers who combine computing and business expertise. Students take compulsory modules in each of the first two years, including introductory computer systems, and a project in the third year. Laboratories provide networked machines, language compilers and database software, and connections to academic networks across London and beyond. Students can work with modern facilities and a virtual learning environment, with comprehensive IT support available throughout the course. The degree is taught in the evening and can be studied full-time over three years or part-time over four years. A Foundation Year route is also available.
