MA/MS in Special Education and Teaching

The Master of Education in Special Education serves teachers who want an advanced degree or a leadership position in special education. It is offered online and has approval from both the state education department and the regional accreditor. The program emphasises collaboration across disciplines and inclusive practice within a legally and ethically responsible framework, helping teachers support children and adolescents with identified learning needs. Its roots lie in the university's Franciscan heritage. Admission is rolling and Act 48 credits are available. Tuition is set per credit at a rate aligned with Pennsylvania state system schools. Career advising, internship access and job-search help come from the university's career office, while the financial services team walks applicants through FAFSA, payment plans and tuition deferment. The university is accredited by its regional accreditor, the Middle States Commission.
