MA/MS in Animal Sciences

The Master of Science in Animal Science lets graduate students shape a plan around their own interests within a wide field. Elective choices run from beef cattle science and livestock breeding and genetics to advanced food science, range animal nutrition, agribusiness, and ranch and livestock management. Students conduct research that addresses questions facing producers in the surrounding region. The department positions the degree as preparation for beginning or advancing a career across virtually the whole agricultural sector. Admission cycles are offered for spring and fall, with earlier dates for international applicants.
